Reggie was born on May 3, 2004. We welcomed him into the Conrad family in July of 2004 after losing
our other two black boys just four days earlier. Todd & Lisa Smoker talked us into just going to look at a friend's
litter of Black Lab pups. Needless to say, we didn't even make it out of the car before already having picked Reggie
out. There were two puppies left, Reggie and his sister. They were the two leftovers at 12 weeks old. Todd
& Lisa decided to get get Reggie's sister Evie after spending the day with Reggie. We got started in DockDogs in
2005. We owe this to Angie Jones. We hunted her down and asked her how to get started and she told us to go to
an event and try it. It just so happened the next event was in Harrisburg PA, only about an hour away from us.
We went, and to our surprise Scott & Reggie finished 5th in Big Air. We have been hooked ever since. Scott
& Reggie started doing EV in 2006. Our first National event was in Dundee MI. Reggie finished 1st and
also got invited to the 2006 World Championships. In 2006 Grant gave Reggie the nickname of The Wild Thing and so Team
WildThing was born. Reggie is also handled by our 8 year old son, Brayden. They finished 1st in the Amateur Finals
in Moneta VA. Whether Scott or Brayden is handling Reggie, he is always very obedient and eager to please. Reggie
also shares his home with an English Bulldog named Q. We hope continue competing in DockDogs for many year to come with
Reggie, his offspring, and the people that have become great friends. We also want to give many thanks to the friend
who have continued to support us and aid in Reggie's success: Reggie's nutritionist Terry Herb of HappiTee Kennels and
Gary Reihart of the Canine Dog Spa.
