Team Kat-Wil

Triton came home at 7 weeks old. At this time I had seen Dock Dogs on ESPN but had no idea anyone could compete. My grandfather at the time lived on a lake with a dock. I taught Triton to jump off his dock. I n 2005 I was reading the Evening Sun (Hanover paper) and read an article on Angie Jones. At that time I contacted Angie and met up with her one night while she was training. Triton’s first event was August 2005 at Cabela’s in Hamburg, PA. I have been in different dog sports but Dock Dogs won my heart! The people were great and Triton loved it!!! At that event they made an announcement that if anyone in the Harrisburg area was interested in starting a club to see Angie Jones. So I went over and gave my name and email address and the rest is history. Triton and I are looking forward to the upcoming year! Look for Triton on the dock jumping up and down like a pogo stick!

November 24, 2007 there were new additions to my household. Kalli (my husband Josh’s dog) had 9 chessie puppies. My husband and myself are each keeping one. So Hermis will be the next jumping chessie for Team Kat-Wil! Hermis’s first event will most likely be Codorus Summer blast!

My team name is in memory of my mom and in honor of my dad. They are the whole reason I have dogs and am so actively involved in dog sports. April 2006 my mom passed away suddenly! My mom was my mentor and best friend in life! I know she is with my at all times but this is my way to remind myself she is always there! Pawsability is always a special event for me because this is the last event my mom attended!
