Fudge was born on April 19, 2007.
After Chocolate competed in a few events, our daughter, Emi, asked her dad for a dog so she could jump, too. After much
debate, we decide to call the breeder we got Chocolate from. They had stopped breeding much to our dismay. So
we began the search for a new CBR. The next day, we found out that Chocolate’s brother had recently become a Dad…more
specifically, Fudge’s dad. We let Emi pick out the puppy she wanted. There were two little girl’s
left. One was wild and the other was just sitting there. Thank goodness Emi fell in love with the one who just
sat there. We do not know what we would do with 2 Chocolates.
As it turns out Fudge was the
perfect match for Emi, a new young handler. Fudge is extremely rational and patient for a young dog. She jumped
the first time in a practice at Lily Pons in MD. Just like at home, she jumped off the dock into the pond with no hesitation.
Fudge celebrated her first event in Easton, MD. She broke 10’ from a stand still. She suffered from a little
bit of stage fright, but jumped right into the swing of things.
At home Fudge keeps us all busy
with her puppy antics. She loves to harass her big brother, Chocolate and chase her sister, Bella the cat. But
her favorite thing to do is cuddle in bed with Emi.
Emi and Fudge can’t wait
until 2008 to show off the hard work they have done in the off-season.
