Argus was born on May 26, 1997 - the biggest in the litter of 11 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. His name
comes from a mythological being with many eyes, some of which were always open - known as a zealous watchman. His name
fits him perfectly. We found our first DockDogs event in March 2006 at Pawsabilities in Harrisburg and Team Argus was
hooked. Even at 10 years old, his speed on the dock has been clocked multiple times at 25 mph. In 2007, he earned
both his Regional and National Junior Titles. In 2006, Argus was certified as a Pet Therapy Dog and visits nursing home
resident three times a month as well as participating in library reading programs for children with reading problems.
NEW ARRIVAL Coleman is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever born October 24, 2007 in Oswego, NY.
We hope he will become a DockDog in 2008, probably beginning with Puppy Palooza in May. He has retrieved his Dead Fowl
Trainer while swimming at the Canine Spa at eleven weeks of age so we can only hope he will follow his brother's love for
the sport.
CHEERLEADER Memphis is an approximately 9 1/2 old mixed breed
who was rescued from the streets of Baltimore MD when he was 3-4 months old. Although he doesn't jump, he attends all
DockDogs events to encourage his brother.
