What a great event this turned out to be.  Even with the big storm that blew through Satuday everyone had a great time.  A big THANK YOU goes out to Jeff Rohrbaugh for his timely phone call that alerted us to the impending storm.  By the time we saw the dark clouds rolling in everyone had been warned, valuable packed in cars, canopy tops removed, and we only had to take the dogs to shelter either in a car or building.  For once, a storm went through without one damaged DockDogs canopy!!  The fair suffered several damaged tents, knocker over Port-A-Pots, and some minor flooding.

Chocolate, just off the disabled list after having a Nerf ball surgically removed from his stomach, was jumping big.  Angel & Chocolate competed in the Pro Finals, finishing in 3rd Place, and received a new Personal Best of 23' 4".

Lil' Daisy Lou had a big jumping weekend with Taylor earning her National Master Title, a new Personal Best of 21' 8", and 2nd Place in the Semi-Pro Finals.  In the Semi-Pro Finals Tim & Bella jumped to 3rd Place, Dodi Conrad & Reggie (after out jumping Scott to earn a place in the finals) finished in 4th Place, and Suzanne & Gauge finished in 6th Place.

Two Youth Handlers had a great time competing in the Amateur Finals.  Chris & Hatcher finished in 5th Place and Emi & Fudge finished in 7th Place and earned a new National Personal Best of 15' 10".  Earlier that weekend both teams competed in Cadet EV with Chris & Hatcher grabbing at 5' 4" for a 1st Place Finish and Kangaroo Fudge grabbing at 5' for a tied 2nd Place Finish.

In Top Gun EV the Keystone Club swept the top three positions:

1st Place - Scott & Reggie - 6' 6"
2nd Place - Angie & Nestle - 6' 4"
3rd Place - Tim & Jasper (aka THOR) - 6' 2"

Tony Casalena, whose daughter Taylor handles Dexter, brought out a brand new competitor - Noodles.  Noodles was off to a good start with his first jump of 5' 8".  For Dori Barkby & Leo, this was their first National Event.  They earned 4 Legs toward their National Junior Title with jumps consistently between 12' 7" and 13'.

The Puppy Brigade was well represented at this event.  Taylor & Kovacs jumped to a new National Personal Best of 10' 4".  Susan & Colman also jumped to a new National Personal Best of 14' 1".  Congratulations to all the competitors and we hope to see you soon.  For Club Stats click here and for complete Event Results click here.
