Thank you Kellie Wisotzkey, Terri Mathias, and Alexandra Beauvais for doing a great job organizing the banquet!
It was great seeing everyone and getting a chance to talk without having to run to go jump or to take care of a dog.
We didn't recognize most people because they were all dressed nicely and none of the girls had ponytails.
The evening
started with a speech from Tim about how Keystone DockDogs got started and how far we've come. Awards were given
for everything from the Best Unintentional Human Jump (Eric Beauvais), to the Most Feet Jumped in Keystone Events
(923' 3" - Thunder), to the Most Improved Regional During 2007 (17' 10" - Kellie & Clay). Thanks Sharon for providing
all the stats! Check all the awards out HERE.
All kinds of door prizes were won - toys, treats, free waves, leashes, a Cabela's chair, Dog Spa Certificates, t-shirts,
etc. Everyone managed to walk away from the banquet with something other than a full tummy. The pups were very
happy when we got home - they all got homemade, smelly, yummy treats from Susan Hetrick & Terri. Lots of those
didn't even last past Saturday as the people were mugged by the furry ones as they walked in the door - they were that
yummy!
The evening concluded with Angie's inspiring vision of where the club was headed in 2008. Thanks again
to everyone's hard work that went into the banquet and the whole season. With three events planned for 2008, we're looking
forward to seeing everyone and can't wait to start jumping!!!
