2007 Cabela's - Hamburg

Hamburg PA - It was a blustery weekend for the Cabela's Event with cold water and temperatures. When we came back to the event on Saturday morning, canopies were bent and broken and upside down from the high winds. Poor Buddy, with Brandy Fowler, showed up on Sunday with cold tail after competing all day Saturday.

Despite the weather, Keystone made a fine showing in the Pro Finals with three teams and the Amateur Finals were almost all Keystone members with seven teams jumping big enough to qualify. They finished:

PRO FINALS
9th Place - Scott Conrad & Reggie - 20' 10"
11th Place - Tim Kline & Bella - 19' 6"
12th Place - Andrew Fisher & Morgan - 18' 5"

AMATEUR FINALS
2nd Place - Angie Jones & Nestle - 21' 5"
3rd Place - John O'Neill & Razz - 20' 11"
4th Place - Carrie Mogel & Jack - 20' 8"
5th Place - Sharon Rodgers & Thunder - 19' 1"
6th Place - Eric Beauvais & Kasey - 18' 9"
8th Place - Todd Smoker & Evie - 18' 2"
11th Place - Andrew Fink & Hoover - 17'

In Top Gun EV, Scott Conrad & Reggie grabbed for 1st Place at 6' 11" and Angie Jones & Nestle followed closely behind for 2nd Place with a 6' 9". Poor Thunder tried his best to grab 6' 2", but after eating 10 cups of dog food and two pig ears on Friday night, his belly was too big and held him down for two misses.

In Cadet EV, the Keystone Club swept the other competitors with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishes. Tim Kline & Jasper won 1st Place with a 6' grab thus earning him his National Top Gun Title. Kevin Landis & Chip along with Todd Smoker & Evie battled it out for 2nd Place, both grabbing 5' 6". Kevin & Chip went away with 2nd Place while Todd & Evie got 3rd Place due to more misses along the way. Brandy & Buddy finished in 4th Place with a 5' grab.
